Diego Fonstad is currently Tinkerer-in-Residence at Castilleja School and the founder of Zombie Cat, a non-profit dedicated to math and science education. Through Zombie Cat and Castilleja, he works closely with teachers and students to develop hands-on teaching curriculum focused on nurturing the next generation of innovators.

Prior to entering the field of education, he co-founded Fundamental Applied Biology (now Sutro Biopharma) and was an early employee at the Internet companies Netcentives and RealNames.

Diego received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Harvard University.

Kirti Patel started her career at Google where she helped launch AdWords operations internationally; she developed and implemented comprehensive training curriculum for new employees. She later joined Salesforce where she focused on helping clients enhance their sales operations and processes. She ran customer education programs in collaboration with marketing and user support to serve the needs of small business clients.

Kirti has always been passionate about education initiatives. She founded DesignDuo, an engineering toolkit for kids to explore technology through collaborative hands-on DIY activities. The DesignDuo kits were based on her research work which involved hundreds of hours spent with kids, parents and learning and design experts. She joined Imagination Supply to continue develop building toys that challenge the hands and minds of kids.

Kirti received a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley. She also holds a masters degree in Learning, Design and Technology from Stanford University.
